Willowmore is a small town located in the Sarah Baartman region of the Eastern Cape just off the N9 National road in the Karoo. Officially established in 1874 Willowmore is known as the western gateway to the Baviaanskloof.
For many years, farming has been the main source of income for those living in the area and since the late 1900's it has been one of the largest mohair producing areas in the world. Although small the town has a buzz of activity which combined with the laid-back charm of the Karoo and the friendliness of the locals, provides a lovely atmosphere away from city life.
